Collaboration with Bespoke Collective and Project Under Gardiner (Now The Bentway)
Anchored under Toronto’s Gardiner Expressway, The Bentway is a dynamic and evolving public space, shaping the future of the city. Before it was officially named, Bespoke Collective, in collaboration with Project Under Gardiner, invited Torontonians to vote for one of three potential names for this space. I was thrilled to take on the assignment of illustrating one of the proposed names: The Canopy. Inspired by the atmosphere of this unique space, I painted the structure en plein air, capturing the essence of its surroundings and the possibilities it held. Here is a documentation of my creative process and the resulting artwork.
