Let’s Talk Science is a national charitable organization dedicated to delivering exceptional science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning experiences to Early Years – Grade 12 youth and educators. In 2016, Groundswell, in collaboration with the Institute Without Boundaries, partnered to design and lead the largest Canadian youth consultation for Let’s Talk Science regarding the future of STEM education. To facilitate these activities, I developed a set of conversation guides, workbooks, and supporting collateral in both English and French. All these materials were distributed to schools from coast to coast. Consequently, 'Canada 2067' engaged over 1000 grade 9 and 10 students to reimagine what, how, and where we learn, who's involved, and issues of equity. The insights generated by youth significantly contributed to the broader Canada 2067 initiative, aimed at catalyzing education transformation.
